Yes! With this Pass, you can explore all of Germany and travel to some cities in Austria, Belgium, Italy, and Switzerland.
What is a travel day?
A travel day is a 24-hour period (from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm local time) during which you can take all the trains you want!
Can I board with just the Pass?
Most local and regional trains, yes! But you need to reserve seats early for high-demand trains, which may cost extra.

- A German Rail Twin Pass consists of 2 German Rail Passes sold together as a package.
- Only non-residents of Europe can travel with a Eurail German Rail Pass. If you’re a resident of Europe, you can travel with an Interrail German Twin Pass instead.
- Available in the Adult (28+) age category only.
- Valid for travel with participating train, ferry, and public transport companies in Germany and select international routes. Read more.
- Not valid for travel to or from Germany, except on selected international routes. Read more.
- Seat reservations and supplements are not included and must be purchased separately.
- 1st class Passes are valid in both 1st and 2nd class carriages. 2nd class Passes are valid in 2nd class carriages only.
- Non-activated Twin Passes are fully refundable and exchangeable within 7 days of purchase – after that, they are 90% refundable up to the last possible activation date (11 months after purchase). Both Passes of the Twin Pass must be refunded or exchanged together.

Change of currency
You cannot change the currency once you have a Pass in your cart. Remove the Pass, and then change the currency on the website header.
