This is an overview of seat reservation fees for domestic trains in Europe. We'll show you when a reservation is mandatory, recommended or optional.
You can make your reservations through the Eurail.com Reservation Service.

In the Frecciarossa trains, which offer four service levels, 1st class pass holders are welcome in Business Class and 2nd class pass holders in Standard Class.
EuroCity (via Brennero)

Reservations for most Norwegian trains are shown as optional in the Timetable. However, we advise you to always make reservations in Norway, because trains often get fully booked.

"Komfort" class available for 1st class pass holders with no cost if reservation is made locally.

Reservation compulsory. These are regular PKP InterCity trains with sleeper cars.
